What Our Partners Are Saying
“EcoMovement set our busy cafe up for composting, and it’s been easy, cost-effective and we feel great about doing it!”— Me & Ollie’s
“We reduced our number of dumpster pick-ups by anywhere between 6 and 9 cubic yards a week, which is a full dumpster that’s now not going to the landfill.” — Peter Egelston, owner of the Portsmouth Brewery
“EcoMovement has been impressive in many ways. They approach composting with the zeal of true believers, and know the science behind methane release so well that they could convince anyone. They are committed to constant work the way any young company should be and have no illusions about how hard their line of work is. EcoMovement offered us all the tools we could ever want to make switching to composting both simple and a good public-relations move by providing staff training and promotional materials. They stay in frequent contact with new accounts to make sure there are no questions or difficulties. All of us at my restaurant are excited to be working with EcoMovement.” — Melissa Jasper, owner of the Friendly Toast

Methane is over 20 times more dangerous a greenhouse gas than CO2, and it's produced when valuable organic materials are buried in a landfill. Composting keeps those organic materials in production, and helps keep the menace of methane at bay.
Our Zero Waste programs shrink trash production so much that most clients won't even need a dumpster anymore. The little bit you may produce that can't be composted or recycled goes to a clean incinerator with rigorous emissions standards, reducing dependence on landfills, too.
